Piles Symptoms
Hemorrhoids, also known as 'piles' are actually inflamed
veins, much like varicose veins. Piles symptoms generally
include itching, burning, rectal pain (especially during bowel
movements) and sometimes bleeding. Bleeding is typically a sign
of internal, rather than external hemorrhoids. A common symptom
of external hemorrhoids is rectal pain.
Piles symptoms are similar to the ones found in anal
fissures and fistulas, inflammatory bowel disease, rectal
prolapse and colon polyps. Approximately 20% of people
suffering with hemorrhoids also have anal fissures. Bleeding,
rectal pain and changes in your normal bowel habits can also be
signs of colon, anal or rectal cancer, so changes in any of
those areas should not be dismissed or taken too lightly.
At the same time though, having piles
symptoms doesn't mean you're destined for the operating
room. Depending on the severity of the piles, you may find an
all natural
hemorrhoid cure that will alleviate the issue
completely.
Causes of
Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids are caused by an increase of pressure on the
veins in the rectal and pelvic area. As the pressure goes up,
it causes blood to pool in the veins, making them swell. Given
time, the veins swell enough to stretch the surrounding tissue,
and that's when you develop piles symptoms, which lead to
painful hemorrhoids.
Other causes:
- Straining during bowel movements, rushing through bowel
movements, or sitting too long on the toilet. (Save your
reading time for a more comfortable seat.)
- Chronic constipation or diarrhea
- Obesity, especially excess weight in the abdominal and
pelvic areas
- Pregnancy and Labor - Typically, if you experience
piles symptoms while pregnant, they will be alleviated once
the baby is born. It's important to most women to find
natural hemorrhoid treatments while they're pregnant.
- Certain medical conditions, like chronic heart disease
and liver disease. These cause blood to pool in the
abdominal area and pelvic region, often enlarging the veins
in those areas. It's the pooling of blood that can lead to
thrombosed external hemorrhoids, something you
really do want to avoid if at all possible.
- Poor food quality, especially a lack of fiber.
This site was created to help you find not just relief from
piles symptoms, but a cure to help you get rid of them for
good. You don't have to live with discomfort and suffering
any longer!
